The Bridge LLC (Library Learning Commons) at JKCS is a place where students and teachers are empowered to learn, to innovate and to connect; a place where all learners are challenged to research efficiently, think critically and analyze confidently.

The Bridge is a metaphor for all that takes place in the Learning Commons at JKCS (Secondary) - the connections, the supports, and the journeys. Skills that are taught, modelled and encouraged through the Learning Commons act as a bridge to support learning both now and in the future. Through all assignments and projects, the process is much more important than the finished product, for it is the skills learned along the way that will transfer to a variety of subjects and disciplines and will act as a bridge to further support students' learning for a lifetime.
